They make my ears tear up and burn and my nose starts running... does anyone know any tricks I can use while making dinner tonight?

Go the local depart ment store. and buy a slicer which can be used for other fruit and vegetables or chopper which be used for the same things. they usaslly run you about 15-45 depeding what brand and the store you buy it from and also diffrent states have diffrent prices ir diffrent things.

the best trick is to tell your friend that you just put in drops that dilated your pupils and get them to cut up your ole smelly onions.

I always keep mine in the refrigerator and it seems to help as far as the burning of the eyes go! My mom use to always soak them in water for 20 minutes first and she said that helped but keeping them cold has always helped with me

My cook cuts off both ends first. She says it helps

As far as them making you cry no. I have never had that problem.
