Sweat Pea, I believe that my greatest achievement in this life has been getting sober a little over 30 years ago and staying that way "one day at a time". Although the proud father of three wonderful sons, grandfather of two beautiful granddaughters and a happily married man to the woman of my dreams, none of these things would have mattered or happened if I had continued on the road of abusing alcohol and drugs. So although I am grateful for all the gifts that life has giving me without my sobriety I do not believe that I would have these other jewels in my life. Bravo to you for reaching what you have in this life also.

After raising my daughter as a single parent, I remarried, worked full time at my own company and went back to university for my degree WITH my daughter. We were classmates and both loved the experience. (except she used to sneak my assignments to get better grades) *lol*

I agree with you, having my son is my greatest achievement and the best moment of my life. A second is putting myself through college, being the first to graduate college (on both sides of my family), and graduating in the top 5th percentile of my class. Its a distant second to my baby son though.
