Resident Evil 4 is a very good action game. It is very different from the previous Resident Evil games in a way that it focuses more on action and less on puzzle-solving. Furthermore, the graphics and detail on the characters are very catching to the eye. The game is pretty long, and is filled with pure action.

Max Payne 2 is also a good contender when it comes to Shooting Games. The game lets the player go into Bullet Time, where time slows down. In Bullet Time, you can also observe the bullets flying in the air. Though the graphics and textures could have used more work, there is an astonishing amount of reality in the game. For example, the way your enemies are killed varies upon what part of the body you shoot. If you shoot an enemy, who is in front of you, in the leg, he will fall face down as when you shoot him in the torso, he will "fly" backwards. However, as the PS2 Version is a port from the more powerful PC, there is a downgrade in the graphics and performance. Nonetheless, Max Payne 2 on the PS2 is an experience that no one should miss, even if this particular version is not on par with the Xbox and PC Versions. The game has been my all time favorite and I have finished it for about 6 times. I'm not kidding. However, it must be mentioned that the game is fairly short but it is so much fun.
