Werewolves can be killed by any wound that destroys the heart or the brain, decapitation of its head and removal of its heart, or any form of death that causes brain or heart damage (such as hanging or other oxygen-deprivation methods).
It is said that shooting using silver bullets is very effective in killing werewolves. Silver is a metal has long been considered to have mystical properties. Even if its efficacy has often been traced to pagan belief in the power of certain metals to ward off evil spirits (among Irish folk, iron is used to ward off evil fairies), the role of silver in werewolf mythology seems to appear after the rise of the catholic church.

Mercury is toxic to mammals, and werewolves are mammals, so yes.
Werewolves are traditionally believed to be afraid of all things silver, and mercury is traditionally believed to be quick silver, so yes.
Mercury mixed with lead also makes for some pretty wicked buckshot, or some very soft bullets, which will make a mess of your gun... But, once it hits a target, it will deform rapidly, expanding, cavitating, and producing a much larger wound channel than most harder bullets. It is also more dense, meaning that you can pack more mass into a smaller space. More massive bullets pack more wallop in general, meaning that a bullet of the proper caliber made mostly of mercury should (provided that it has enough alloys to keep it solid at room temperature) be quite a good choice for killing large animals, such as wolves, feral humans, and werewolves.
Good hunting! But remeber, if you shoot someone with mercury, and he dies, it does not prove that the victim was a werewolf, and dead werewolf bodies often miraculously transform into a human figure before the police show up. Try to stay out of trouble.

Well, if the werewolf was bitten by a Zombie and became a Zombie Werewolf then you could shoot him in the head with any kind of bullet to kill him. Even a Mercury bullet.

No, but it can really screw up his nervous system. I suppose you could drown him in it if you had enough of it. You would have to weight him down somehow though. Mercury is so dense he would just float otherwise.
A werewolf probably wouldn't live too long if someone put him on the planet Mercury. If the planet Mercury fell on him, that would probably kill him too.

I know anything silver can. I never heard of mercury. The only way I coould see that happening is if he bit down on the thermometer while he having his temperature taken. The only other thing that could happen is he could sit on it while he was changing and the mercury would get into his digestive tract and he would be shitting glass and get poisoned at the same time. I heard they get fevers while they're changing.
Good Luck with your werewolf problem.

I believe that a Silver Bullet kills a werewolf, not mercury, but they probably could be in human state, it's uncertain : \

If they are exposed to enough of it, yes. Werewolves can be killed by most conventional means. The whole silver bullet thing was started because silver interferes with a werewolf's healing powers.

I thought only a silver bullet could, but technically if you mix the mercury with the silver into a bullet you can test it. All you have to do now is find a werewolf.

That mercury has been called "quick silver" for centuries, does not mean it has the properties of actual silver.
