I believe in you.
As far as believing in the other karma I would have to say yes I do. That is in the sense that if you are a nice person you tend too attract nice people. I don't believe that if you do something bad or mean that a Mack truck will strike you when you cross the street that would be flirting with fate which I do not believe in. It could also just be a matter of circumstance though. For example if your a good person your attitude tends to be the glass is half full so when something happens in your life you tend to look at it in a better light as apposed to the bad person having the same thing happen to them they may see it in a glass is half empty point of view and see it as a bad thing.
That's my take.

In Karma concept, unhealthy karma can't be defeated via doing well karmas. The account for unhealthy karmas are separate. And the account of well karmas are separate. The results of karma can't be mitigated. It needs to be loved or suffered. There is a Sanskrit Sloka: "Avasyam anubhogthavyam kritham karma subha asubham; naa bhugtham ksheeyathe karma kalpa koti sathairapi". Meaning; We ought to suffer the results of our karmas, if it is well or unhealthy. No karma gets erased via doing different deeds. Sometime we must think that we aren't doing and that nature is bringing this kind of situation to drive us to take a natural path to adopt that movement. There is a announcing in Mahanarayana Upanishad: "Kamokarsheet Manyurakarsheet Namo Namah". It is an complex factor, which I don't wish to give an explanation for right here.
