Tall people, short people, gays, hoodies, death, uncertainty, anything "outside the box" of stereotype. Arachnids, lonliness, old age, assertive/confident people ..need I go on?
Just about anything can produce sweaty palms in anyone with less than a strong constitution.

I left School unable to read or write in 1965, Dyslexic then not known and I was regarded as being backward but now look I am an Author with a book out on most book site like Amazon, because I used my computer with a spell checker and a grammar correction to write it, bit by bit, I started off witting but kept what I wrote on file in my documents on my computer, I used Microsoft Word, then I put what I wrote together and then added more on until I finally got a full book, then I found publishers who spent money to do it up and they called my book that is more about my life than Internet,
(A Serial Shaggers Guide to Internet dating, My 1001 lovers), By Me, Author Clive Worth,

Smart-Alecs and Know-alls
Political leaders who are in it for themselves
Poverty
Discrimination
Injustice
Torture
Pain
Ignorance
Think of hell and what it would be like to be bombarded every day with all the things YOU hate: toothache, people ignoring you.
You could be really clever and tell your teacher you'd put Room 101 in Room 101. That should give her something to mull over!!! Take care!

As a general fear my fear is to be lonely! I think many people are scared of being alone if they really think about it. I love being around family and friends and am really outgoing so for me that would be MY worst nightmare to be locked up alone. But I am not sure whether that would help your assignment although it would certainly put a great twist on it to say there is simply nothing in there and the fear is being alone and trapped?
Common fears for many people are:
*creepy crawlies, reptiles etc
*heights
*the dark etc
However I also searched the web for you and found this website which could be of assistance:
http://psychology.about.com/od/phobias/p/commonphobias.htm
Also if you search for common fears and phobias on a search engine I am sure you will find further examples. x

My room 101 would include employees, things that fly around my bedroom at night, the dark, being alone, being told off by my boss, needles or anything put under my skin.

People are afraid of being told the truth about anything, especially about themselves if it's not 100% positive. So everyone goes around lying to eachother, and that's just ok to them even though they know it's false.
But really... No windows, loud screaching noises, spirits, spiders/webs, strange sounds, skeletons from bodies that died there previously, darkness, smells, water dripping, being tied up, to cold/hot, mental illness, hearing voices in head, being in a boat with fear of water/high place with fear of hights and so on..

Sorry, I'm not even at GCSE standard yet but you could do sort of personal things i.e. not being accepted, being let out, being unwanted, having nasty comments said to you which you just keep locked away, hurting at you little by little. Just small things that niggle at you, why the world can't be perfect, why people can't just be nice, what makes people do the things they do.
