Ok for all the men that dont get it, we are having fun buying our dogs clothes and dressing them up! Just like we had fun as little girls dressing up our dolls. Our dogs are here for our enjoyment and if part of that enjoyment is dressing them up, than so be it. Whats the big deal. Were just having fun.

Marisol Marie weighs in at 4 lbs. Since she is a chihuahua, she is cold natured. She has tee shirts and sweaters, I bought her biker leathers with a bandanna (she hated this outfit) but she looked cute She had fatigues too, but it was a raincoat. Mr Pugly my pug has a sweater for the winter, but is too embarrassed to wear it outside to use the yard. He refuses to be "seen" so he will just sit and not budge an inch until I take it off

I buy them sports tee shirts of the teams I like and a few sweaters. I only put it on when it is cold for a walk but some people think I go over the top. I bought them Halloween costumes, is that bad?

And people are making a fortune out of, ''dog Fashion Accessories!" Wish I had thought of that.

Hope you don't carry your dogs around in pink shopping bags?

When I had a dog I did buy him a yellow turtle neck sweater [lived in Boston at the time]. I have had cats ever since and frankly do not believe my 17 lb Maine Coon would abide clothes of any type! ;-)

No but I like to see them with a bandanna round the collar. I love the cow story. I had a mental picture of them wearing their blankets and coming when their name was called

I never have purchased fashion clothes for the dogs, but close. My brother-in-law named all of his dairy cows after his sister-in-laws, so one of several cows was named "Gladys". All of us sister-in-laws would make blankets to cover our "sister cows" for in the winter. It almost became a competition between us as to which cow was the best dressed (or covered) in the barn. That's about as close as I got to dressing an animal!

No, he weighs about 50-60 lbs and I somehow can't see him standing for it. lol He does his own lovely fur though that keep him quite warm. My daughter has a dog that gets chilled very easily and they put tee shirts and such on him, but cute as he is, he's no fashion plate! lol

No! but some of it is cute if you have a dog who likes it as much as you do.
Mine likes her backpack only-for hiking trips. Carries her own water & treats, I carry the rest. She is a Corgi so keep her carry weight as low as possible.
