As an avid cereal killer or I mean eater I 1) put the cereal into the bowl first. 2) Use a tablespoon, which is larger than a regular teaspoon but smaller than a ladle. Makes more slurpy noises but who cares if you're by yourself. Plus, I like my cereal to set for a few minutes to let it soak up some of the milk. I don't like it really crunchy but yet not soggy soft or mushy either. Ever notice that when you have eaten all the cereal and you have an excess amount of milk left in the bowl? Do you add more cereal or do you tip the bowl up to your mouth and drink it?

As a child, I was NEVER allowed to eat anywhere except at the table, much less in my bedroom! I clearly remember the first time I ate cereal out of a big cup in bed! I was 19 and my boyfriend brought it to me! It was VERY strange to me but I soon concluded it was a GREAT way to eat cereal without spilling the milk! Plus, you can fit a whole lot more in a BIG cup!

If you run out of milk, yogurt and applesauce are both good substitutes!
