Not enough hitting and they paid a bunch of money to Schmitt who got hurt. Also Randy Wolf was out for a lot of the year. Thier rotation is worse than the Phillies and that is saying something. Plus, the had a lot of young players who they should have parted with. Texiera would have looked nice in Dodger Blue. They value their kids as much as the Angels do, which keeps them from landing big trades.

they have no real ace, there pitching is excellent like something of the gang the standings will in all hazard finally end up like this a million. Rockies 2. Giants (who get the wild card) 3. Dodgers 4. Dbacks 5. Padres

I wish I knew. I had picked them to win the NL West and for awhile it was looking good. Like the Mets, the Dodgers just became unglued and I can't figure out why.
