I'm a 12 year old girl and I already have a lot of stuff, I have a flat screen tv in my room with cable and dvr and a flat screen computer and a pink laptop, a pink DS lite, a wii and ps3 with lots of games and ddr with the mats, TONS of makeup, a razr and a sidekick, and an Ipod video with a pink aloha cover. I also get american girl magazine and pony club packages every month. What should I ask for? Don't say I'm spoiled because I paid for a ton of that stuff myself. I do a lot of chores around the house and neighborhood and I got some of it off ebay. But my parents did get me the tv and the computers, but a lot of kids have those. Maybe a movie? Or should I ask for something else?

oh I forgot to say, my cousin suggesed a digital camera or a portable dvd player or clothes, but I got all that last year, and I have so many clothes that my cloest organizer is starting to collapse! I'm getting no answers plz answer ppl!! plz!!

your ? was most unsettling. I have a 16yr dau who certainly does not have nor will she ever get all the stuff u have @ 12. Be honest w/ urslf. Do u really need it all - do u use it or just have it? is it a substitute for family love and involvement? do u feel noone will like you or be your friend if you don' t have the latest & greatest? go thru your stuff & weed out what you don' t use - make arrangements to give to someone who can use it ( check w/ your school counselor or worship leader for ideas) perhaps you could help w/ a clothing or food drive. Get ideas from the "Angel tree" or whatever it's called in your area & have your family shop for another family - these kids have such simple wants, & need so much, not just @ Xmas. Get involved in helping others who have much less. Perhaps your family could sponsor a child in another country - for a monthly fee, that child can get food, clothing, medical care and schooling - & you get progress reports, Donate to Heifer International a & help a family support themselves. It's hard it imagine such extreme poverty. try going without food for a day, or electronic gadgets for a week & realize that's normal for millions. Look for community service projects to help w/ - you may get some idea of what you want to do when you're on your own - your high school may require community service hours for graduation (& it looks good on college & job applications). Save $$ for college - the costs keep going up & it sure doesn't sound like you'll qualify for need-based financial aid (& you don't want to start your adult life w/ a big debt) When you read the AG stories please realize that some things havn't changed. Nellie's orphans still exist - they're in "foster care", Kit's hobos live in homeless shelters, or sleep in the woods because they've "aged out" of foster care & and no one cares enough to help them get a job or education. Addy's tenements & boarding houses are still there. Not all who are on public assistance are "milking the system" & others need help but can't get it. No one can correct all the injustices but we can each make a difference in the life of ONE person. Sure, it's fun to get lots of presents & you will undoubtedly get some, but please try to shift your focus away from "me, me, me" - you really will be happier w/ yourself in the long run.

If you insist on asking for something, ask for money to save for college. In ten years, you won't want any of the stuff you have now, but you'll sure appreciate the money for college.

heyy i am 12 yr old to and I have noo clue wat to get for christmas. i have everything to maybe u can look into something called Webkinz stuffed aniamals and u can make them on webkinz.com and its fun! another thing is shoes if u dont have a lot then get some to match your clothes. mayb a cell phone cover or a dog , hamster, cat. i have a dog and hamster. maybe this will help! tell me something to get to!!!!!!!!!!

If you have all of the things that you mentioned, then I don't think you should ask for one single thing. I think you should start giving instead of receiving. It is more blessed to give than to receive.
