I want you to take a good look at the amount of questions I've asked, the best answers I've received, and the questions, I've answered along with the total amount of points I've amassed and tell me why I'm not deserving of being a top contributor as I've obviously contributed quite a bit. Yahoo's set up or rules on this are totally wrong in my opinion although I really don't care too much. To answer your question though, it's based on % of best answers more than anything so try to get as many as possible to become one.

I'm not classed as a top contributor (hope to be one day) but I find it easier answering questions, and I haven't put on any questions as I prefer to help people out than ask what would probably some silly question.

I answer and answer all the time and am only at 8%, 8,900 answers. What is wrong with me!
Although I can't complain, I did get a lovely mug from Answers in the mail.

At the moment I am not a top C. But I have had the title. I like answering more. And I answer far more than I ask.

yahoo deemed it fit to take away that priviledge!
