You really think the d-backs are gonna choke away the lead in the west with 3 games against the rockies? I agree the rockies are hot, but they have beaten the Dodgers (1-9) last 10 six straight times. If the phillies make the playoffs I think Jimmy Rollins wins the MVP.

Anyone knowing the true answer to this question should be calling one of the many sports books in Las Vegas.
But this is why they play the games.
I'm kinda hoping the Brewers pull out the Central. A quarter-century without October is enough. (Second longest postseason appearance drought, behind Washington/Montreal (1981), who really got screwed the hardest in 1994.)
