in hospital with a suspected overdose...should they save him or just let him rot...i know what my answer would be....

well i agree with you nicky, let the parents of them girls at him...but when it came on the news i was hoping that they said he was dead....that would have made my day...

Nicky....Ian Brady killed Keith Bennet and Pauline Reed with his freaky blonde monster Myra Hindley....i think you got your wires crossed...even so...if Ian Brady tried to top himself then i'd leave him to die, because he is the worst piece of scum alive on this earth right now...theres parents out there that still don't know where their children are and that's after 40 odd years...

Personally i don't think anymore money should be wasted on that heap of crap but unfortunately,the system doesn't work that way...Shame...

When i heard on the news my first thought was I'm glad they got him in time - he doesn't deserve a way out. He deserves to be paying for his crime - and the best place to pay is in prison. They said he had to serve 40 yrs - lets hope they keep a good watch on him. As for the girls parents i don't think they want revenge - their not that sort of people - they have always behaved in a dignified manner - and just want Ian Huntley to carry out his jail sentence.

If he wants to die then he should not be allowed to.
He murdered 2 young girls and must face all the consequences.
I used to think the best punishment would be the standard response - lock them in a room with the family with the condition that the guilty party didn't die.
Now, however, I realise that I, for one, would not be able to stop myself killing him.
I am not a vicious person but I would like to see people like this in excrutiating pain for the rest of their very long lives.

The last time that he was in hospital for an overdose a nurse got reprimanded for verbally abusing him.Can you imagine someone actually being reprimanded for saying something that might hurt that scumbags feelings.In answer to your question I think that they should save him and accidentally return him to a real prison where the inmates could deal with him,not back with the nonces.

I'd like to see him dead but not by his own hand!
I say let the general population of the prison at him and see how long he lasts, isn't there a code of honour amongst criminals with regards to child murders/paedophiles?
They would do a have a far better and more imaginative job of giving him his just desserts than we could ever dream of!

Lets hope the doctors and nurses are doing everything they can to make him feel as uncomfortable as possible, perhaps a bottle of sleeping tablets left next to his bed might be a thought.

Unfortunately the law of the medical profession says they have to save lives. He has threatened enough times to top himself - pity he hasn't succeeded.

save him then let him rot..... or even send him back home so the agrieved parents can deal with him............. if it were my child he would not have stood in the dock as i would have smuggled a device into the court and killed the messer there and then taking the consequences that came along........... if that did not work id dig the guns up then snipe him over the prison wall................

I agree with everyone here, save and make him suffer for what he did, just hope they don't accidently put a leathal injection into him to finish him off.
