I do. His plans might not work, but I'm glad to have him on board. I've been working for this issue for years, and welcome anybody who will help, on either side of the political spectrum. Especially someone as powerful as President Bush. It's more important that we all attack this problem and fix it (like we did the hole in the Ozone Layer) than play partisan politics with the health of our planet.

More about the "ozone layer" for those not paying attention. We the government of the US, put regulations on the amount of certain chemicals put into the air by factories and by cars, and we fixed the hole in the Ozone layer. We can fix the Global Warming problem too. Or maybe I'm too optomistic. Innovation has always been America's strong point, and I believe we can fix this.

Bravo for him. It is about time. I'll bet there are some who still won't believe what we have been saying all along. GLOBAL WARMING IS REAL.

I've become so PO'd at this administration and the disregard for, well, everything that I regard, that doubt I could find any good in anything they do. I would expect that in the details of what they are doing, there is something, or likely, many things, that are counter to the stated objectives.

What, Russia has already claimed the Arctic!
We are looking at 6 million acres of US Soil being under water in a few years, coastal property, Florida. A mere 1 meter rise in sea level will do that, and as the polar ice caps melt, we are talking about a 200 meter rise in sea level.
Goodbye Florida and all the coastal areas.

Man made global warming is the biggest mass hysteria lie in the last 100 years! What ever happened to that end of the world as we know it irreversible hole in the ozone layer. We never hear about that anymore, but that was built up to be the demise of humans about a decade ago! Just like this alarmist global warming crap.

If as some suggest, global warming(climate change) is caused by man, the only solution is to eliminate man. Who's first?

I don't think the President should be doing something about global warming unless and until there is proof that man causes and man can change it.

His plans, based on intelligently moving forward using incentives, technology and realistic goals, are much more likely to succeed than crap like Kyoto.
And his goal is reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, which is measurable. And doing so without harming the economy.

You better check exactly what it is hes doing first; He might have thought global warming meant burning the brush at the ranch at night instead of during the day.
