Your not the only one,although Steven' character has been brought in,ti's still not clear,I believe he had something to do with it,as he couldn't have spent all that time bothering/staling Ian's family only to let him go without doing something to him.

It was Steven Beale his step son. As to why, I don`t think anyone knows yet.

I don't know if he kidnapped him but it was stephen.
