Do you think the side of my house looks ok? Do I need something else in it or is it just fine the way it is...and dont say I need to take my flag down because my husband is deployed to Iraq for 15 months, and my flag isnt coming down.

Oh - I think that looks SO cute! And when I say cute I mean terrifying :)
They make very small fog machines - maybe on Halloween night you could set up a fog machine inside the "graveyard" for a spooky affect - I think that would look really neat. I've seen them in Target in the Halloween aisle.

That is a really awsome set up. The flag does look out of place there (im sure thats why people would say take it down) but it could be moved or stay where it is since showing support for the country and our countrymen is important too. I dont think you should add anything to it... its a classy little fall set up and I like it. :)

As far as Halloween goes it looks great. I am a VET and would never suggest taking the flag down. The only thing is, when I first seen the picture my initial feeling was "oh here we go again, what's this supposed to mean America is dead or something" then I read your post again and remembered it is almost Halloween. Maybe you should just move the flag to the front or something till Halloween is over. Or leave it there if you want this is America you can put where you want.

Yes, it look okay but it should be a little scarier. You should add a scary looking scarecrow and a coffin or two. Do you have anything you could actually hang on the side of your house like a ghost or something? It just needs a finishing touch.

I think it looks great. The only thing that I would say is the top side of the house looks plain. It's so cute on the ground but your eyes want to keep going up, but all you see is house. If you can find something that you can add up higher I would say do it, but if you can't find anything, I wouldn't worry about it. It looks really good!

I think it's sweet: not too scary, but with the proper reminder of death, balanced by the harvest. The American flag is appropriate at a cemetary, and your flag adds height to an otherwise low-lying display. Good balance.
In fact, I'm so impressed with your display, I think I'll copy it and put in on my Halloween page!

I like it a lot..but you could add a spider web in the left upper corner and have a huge spider hanging down. I'll pray for husband!! We all appreciate the service he's doing for our freedom!

looks ok
maybe can get a few extra skull lights and span between plants against side of house or maybe some fake webbing
broomsticks attached would also add to decor
