Has anybody else ever left this site for a while? If so how did you bring yourself to leave it?

You are struggling because you love your friends and P&S family here! You just have to learn how to block out all other useless nonsense!!! I personally, have never been able to leave here for more than a couple of days! I miss everyone SO much...I just can't stay away any longer than that! *hugs to you my friend* =D

I have to leave off and on all day to get my work done and I hate it, I feel like I'm missing something. Ever since I discovered P&S I've been hooked. I enjoy all the interaction with ppl from all over the world its so addictive, I think I may be in need of some Y/A rehab.
Stay on here, don't go!

I have tried to leave this site a couple of times but I think there is no better one than at P&S. I guess what I am saying is I have been accepted and appreciated here and the ladies had a way to lure me back and I stayed. I would hate to see you go because you bring a lot to the table and what you say is true and intelligent. I think you are a necessary player here and P&S would have an awful big hole to fill if you leave. I know I would definitely miss your prespective and some of your questions . They provide me a chance to learn and grow and to be challenged and to have fun.

I left for a few days (thats not really much though). The reason I left is because there hadn't been any interesting questions or anything, so I just took a break. Sometimes thats all we need. Then we start missing answers again :D
But if you cant make yourself leave, and its not doing anything bad to your real life, why should you leave??

Sawman and Rebirth are gone. Not sure about Sawman, but Rebirth just asked a question, said he was leaving and left. He does plan on coming back, but he has been gone three months already. I was told to watch for his questions.
If you honestly feel you need to leave, you say goodbye, pick best answer, and walk away. Your true friends will understand and wait for the day you come back even for just a visit.

if people left this site then they can't answer your question because they're not here to read it! but if they did leave it for a while then they were obviously not successful if they came back to answer your questions! hahaha...i think people here just like helping other people out & they feel good about it. thats it.

Take it out of your favorites and don't sign on.
When I'm answering questions here I don't feel like I'm someplace special. I'll never understand the fascination with chat forums and why people get so attached, but this isn't even a chat forum. I don't understand the emotional tie.

I only joined a few days ago, as with facebook( which is also a time waster) just limit yourself. Tell yourself you have one hour to read answers and questions and then you have to move on. I do that and it works well!

im struggling to, i got on it when i first bought my computer and i quit, and how was i started ordering from the free sites, so that got my mind off this for a long time but i started back here recently

Yeah. I ended up in the hospital. After several days, I was giving
my account name & password to my son so he could contact the people I thought might be concerned. My Doctor overheard it, and agreed to discharge me! He said if I was more concerned with the people on-site than my recovery, I was very-likely ready to go home! He was right! }:>
