usually about 20 weeks. my tip to you would be...when you go to get the ultra sound done...and you cant tell if its a boy or girl..ask the Dr. if you can get up and go to the bath room or walk around...this could change the position of the baby and then you might get a better look! Good luck!

It mainly depends upon your technician. Some can tell if you're having a boy as early as 14 weeks, but most doctors prefer to wait until you're 16-20 weeks and sometimes as late as 24 weeks to be sure.

Anything from 16 weeks onwards, but the most accurate will be around 20 weeks. My doctor ventured a guess around 16 weeks and was wrong... my 'girl' turned into a 'boy' four weeks later.

boys are easier to see early than girls. We were told boy at 15 weeks, it was pretty obvious!! Usually the ultrasound is done anywhere form 16-24 weeks, depending on your dr's preference.

To get the best result about 5 mths! The baby is much bigger, but small enough to have the ultrasound to see in every angle!
