I have seen pictures of them and have taken pictures of the outside of them so I am guessing yes...BUT
Many people don't want pictures taken of them while they are praying and if you are not a Muslim you can only visit certain Mosques in Morocco due to a Moroccan law restricting Mosques to Muslims.

I'm in Morocco now and recently visited the huge mosque in Casa and took several pictures. However you cannot enter the mosque if you are not Muslim. This mosque has the reputation of allowing non-Muslims inside, but that is not true. It is not only a big tourist attraction; but the locals enjoy daily visits as well for reasons other than praying. It is certainly worth a visit to see the beautiful architecture.
Edit: I just saw FoxyLady's answer and this is the Mosque I am refering to. Perhaps I didn't visit during the normal hours because I was not allowed inside.

This is a tricky question.
You can take pictures of the OUTSIDE of Mosques and you can take pictures inside Hassan II (in Casablanca) but not in the inner santuary where people pray (it is the only mosque that is open to the public in Morocco).
People do not like it when you take pictures of them when they are praying. You will see mosques that are so full that you will see men kneeling and praying outside the mosque... no pictures please.
Be respectful of what you are doing... use your better judgement and you should be just fine!

yes, you can, you can take pictures of the outside of the mosques in Morocco. But if you wanna shot the inside, you can go to Hassan 2 mosque in Casablanca, there are fixed hours for tourists to visit, and taking pictures is allowed.

The outside, yes. In Morocco there are only 2 mosques open to those who are not Muslim.

my experience is that cameras are forbidden inside......outside is fine....you can buy postcards, etc...women are not allowed in some mosques & tourists are limited to certain areas when allowed in...
