Wow, lots of women here against men supporting their children . . .
The child support only reflects the father's income. Although I havent practiced in 52 states and 37 countries as some people claim to, I have never seen the new spouse's income included.

It is "reflected" by the court order you got when the divorce was finalized. If you feel you should get more due to a change in income, go back to court. I have not seen a State that considers a new spouses income.

His combined assets available which could be interpreted in states like Missour to include his wife's income and also his inheritance, proceeds from investments and annuities and the like.
TO SENSIBLE:
Missouri, as I said, and a few other states, have statutes on the books that reflect what I said, that all available assets are considered. That doesn't mean that they are used, but they can be per law.

Normally based on his income, his new wife isn't responsible for paying your ex-husband's child support, he is and that is why most of the time it only goes by what his salary is.

I think you should get all you can. Because kids never stop needing things. i have a 7mth. old and her dad pays and it's not enough. But i heard here in Texas if the man is married and not working his wife pays. I don't know but if it's true sounds good to me. What you can do is ask for a raise i don't know where you are but in Texas we ask for raises. You can call the child support office and they can tell you more...
