I have 2 boys Ross and Logan, I did want Josh but my sister called her little one this. My son Ross thinks he has a famous name (the frozen food company) and Logan I got from the film x-men, I also looked at the credits at the end of films to get some ideas on names which may help.

My son is called gabriel. I felt it was really difficult to choose a boy's name.

My husband always wanted to call him Gabriel and I had always said "no" and we agreed on Joseph. When he was born there were loads of Joes in the Mat. ward and I decided at the last minute to call him Gabe. Just goes to show that even if you choose a namw now you may change your mind.

If you both can't decide why don't you wait until he is born-you have 6 weeks after the birth to register him. You might think he "suits" a particular name when he is here with you

Best of luck

Both of you need to sit down, write up a whole slew of baby names you love and really like. Then sit down and compare notes. If you find a name or two that you both like, work from there. That's the only advice I can give you hun.

My little boys name is Ethan. Weren't to fussed first of all but my partner loved the name. He got to pick a boy's name and me a girls name. He won!

Congratulations
Best of wishes.

I was told the best thing to do if you really can`t agree is to each make a list of the names you like in preferential order then compare,
first one that appears on both lists is the one to consider( i say consider cos so many people change their minds when baby is born!)
If that doesn`t help i say mum should have final decision as she`s the one that has to go through labour(although don`t pick something he really detests!!)

ps my eldest is Drew, luckily we both agreed on it!!

I like names you cant shorten so Mark/Scott/Rian/Kian appeal to me. You can always compromise tell him you will pick this babies name and he can pick the next lol (by which time he may have a preference for different names altogether and you may like one of those. All the best with your new baby when he arrives x

Well you have to compromise.Even if it means giving him two names by both of you.
In Zambia thats what usually happens. But most of the times Dad names boy and mummy names girl.
