A better question would be, "Will the high stress of medical school or an internship kill my chances of having a successful pregnancy?"
I'd say med school and internship are more dangerous to your baby, than your baby is to your career.

No definitely not. My cousin just had a baby right out of college. She is now 1/2 way through medical school and doing great. The key is to get help whereever you can. She is lucky and all our family lives in the same town so Ava gets to stay with family while mom and dad are in school (he is now getting his phd and finishing med school).

You will need a husband that can do alot more with the child at home, or family or friends that can watch them.
You will need a biger support network, that is it.
Finding a job while being pregnant, will kill most of your chances.

My gyno has 4 sons that were all born during or after her med school and intern years. She is the head of the Gyno department and intends to continue where she can.
If you realy want it you will struggle to make it happen!!
