I neither agree nor disagree.
I think it depends on the individual
and all of the circumstances
surrounding the event.
Looking back as to what
I remember about all
the strange, weird, happy, sad,
violent, disgusting, etc
occurrences in my life,
I think it depends on the individual.
I write all the time,
so everyday occurrences
are very clear in my mind,
but some people can't even remember
what they were doing yesterday
at this time, with any more clarity
than they could, say 10 years ago.

Yes, this very true. My first memory was my father and mother fighting. I also just left my piece of **** bf, and he wants to remember the good times...funny...I don't remember there even being good times. Yeah, maybe that one time he went out of town and didn't hear his compulsive bitching for a week...now that is a good time, that I do remember.
