I watched a comedian on TV once and he made an excellent point about Women and equality, esspecially when it comes to the pay differences.
This is paraphrased, not word for word:
Men get paid more women don't why? He syas, women always ***** about equality and not getting paid the same as men do. But when a boat is sinking who are the first ones allowed off the boat? The WOMEN and children (i agre with the children) Until wmen and men can both get off the sinking boat at the same time in no particular order, Women will be getting paid less. We stay on the boat, uncertain if we'll come out alive, we jump in front of bullets for woemn, we protect women with our lives.
This difference in salary is a co-pay. A hazardous duty pay for the guys so to speak.
That make sense?
I though it was funny, better when the comedian did it, but he has a point.

It's "ok" for a man to sleep around (not a married man, though! That is totally different!! ) If a female sleeps around she is a ****
They can do the same job, but he will get higher pay!
I could go on ....
BUT...The double standard goes both ways.
men have it hard in other ways, like rights to their children, they usually get the bad end of the deal in a divorce or custody battle, they get laughed at if they are a virgin passed 17 years old, they are expected to be strong when they are going through a hard time, they cannot get help with medical care when they can't afford it. They are considered weak if his wife is abusive (physically or mentally)
I could go on here, too....

This is the very question I have been asking myself for the past 10 years. By the way, it isn't right. It isn't ok for men to sleep around and get paid more than women anymore. Anyone that still thinks that is from the dark ages. That kind of mentality is not only wrong but is very sexist.

I know that its really unfair but i really dont think its going to change drastically very soon. the best way to avoid the double standard in terms of sex/ personal lives is to keep your personal life personal. and if people find out then dont listen to it because they dont know the real you.
im sad to say that men and women working the same job arent paid equally, but thats how it is for now. i really hope that more women will become CEO's and run their own show so that they can pave the way for other women.

Because men started these issues and they try to maintain control of them. It is alright for them to sleep around because society says women shouldn't be lose or promiscuous. Remember they always say men are sowing their wild oats, when they are sleeping around. Men have set the rate of pay and when women burnt their bras and came into the workforce when they meant for them to remain barefoot and pregnant, slaving over a hot stove - they never changed the rules.

It's not right for men are anyone for that matter that is married to sleep around. As for pay,I was always taught. A closed mouth don't get Fed. Equal days pay for a equal days work for everyone, men & women.

There just is. Learn the rules, and play by them, and PLAY TO WIN!
The rules have been there so long, no man invented them, and if played continuously (no changing rules) you can predict a winning outcome (that's why women are analytical too!)
