clean your house and clean it well. take all foods and make sure they are sealed tight. take out your garbage everyday. when there is no food then there is no reason for them to be there.

You can also try what more cutting-edge professionals use, Fipronil and Hydramethylnon based gels. It has low toxicity but you can always apply it in hard to reach areas underneath sinks and inside cracks so kids and pets can't get at it. The company that distributes it is called MaxForce and their products can be purchased online at cooperseeds.com.
I've read about it and it seems the two main reasons it is effective is because roaches do not become immune to it, and ironically enough, because it takes a longer time to kill. This allows infected roaches more time to spread it to other roaches, killing them as well (through their droppings and corpses, yuck!). Since some roaches are finicky you can maximize the effectiveness by using both chemicals simultaneously.

I was in the store, inline, about three days ago and the cashier and this pest control guy were talking, and he said(now this is a pest control guy), that the best, easiest and most affordable way to rid yourself of roaches is to use, Fabulos (i think correct spelling) and vinegar mixed together. I was shocked... you can normally find fabulos, in or at any dollar store in a verity of scents. He said to mix it up in a spray bottle and spray it all around you base boards and such and anywhere you didn't want them.
Anyways he didn't give specifics in measurements, or anything, but i thought it was funny, listening to him tell trade secrets like that.Way to go pest control guy, lol. Bye Bye roaches for little of nothing.lol
I think i would igve it a try... let me know if you do,i'd be very intersted to see if it works.

roaches can go a long time without food, butnot very long without water. the best way to get rid of roaches without using any chemicals at all is to get yourself a wolf spider, they just love roaches.

Boric acid powder sprinkled liberally around the baseboards, including interior walls, around, under behind the stove and refrigerator, all kitchen and bath cabinets. Keep food tightly sealed, house clean and garbage out.

Wel i dont know exactly what chemicals you dont want to use but there is a gel it comes in a like a large seringe looking thing form like combat or one of those brands. It really works great. and of course make sure you dont leave food laying around and stuff. Godd luck, i know that stuff is frustrating.

I have heard hedge apples under your house will help. The only real way is to keep every thing clean all the time. No food & they will go to your neighbors to eat.
