I had a cat that I grew up with..I watched her being born. She was 16 when she died. Sadly, killed by a dalmation whose owner let run loose. My heart still breaks thinking about it..11 years later.
Til this day, not one of my cats has ever been let outside again..
RIP, Delilah! ;-(
My uncle had a cat that lived to age 21 and 11 months..he died peacefully in his sleep, with no known health problems, other than old age.
My great grandfather died and left behind his scarlet macaw..that bird is in his fifties..still going strong, and still cursing in Spanish.

Well, my first beta lived 8 years. That's pretty good for a fish. I had a small dog that lived to be 15. Not too old for a dog.
