I am a Patriot. I support and defend the Constitution of our country and the rights of all people whether I agree with them or not. I have served honorably in the military. I vote in order to fulfill my civic duty. I have assisted with and contributed to drives which are designed to provide aid and comfort to the troops in the field. I do speak out about policies which I feel are bad for the country, but I also show proper respect for our leaders no matter what party they may belong to. I buy American made goods whenever possible. I do not bad mouth or degrade my country. I honor our flag and traditions. In short, I love the United States and I am proud to be a citizen.

I love my country. I become involved in many ways, including voting, contributing to charitable organizations that help children, the disabled and the elderly. I have donated not only funding but my time to these justifiable causes.
I don't just wave the flag, I honor the freedoms given to me and do what I am able to do to preserve and promote these freedoms for our future generations.
I stay involved in knowing what is going on at the level, state and national government. I say no to socialism as it will tear apart the fabric of this nation.
I am a proud conservative American

There are many types of Americans (whether we like it or not) and many different ways to be patriotic. It's all part of the checks and balances built into our system.

I consider myself to be because I like and support America. That's all you have to do. If you can answer the question "Do you have faith in America" without descending into some partisan babble, then you pass my test for being a patriot.

Yes. I understand that while dissent against your country during war may not be necessarily unpatriotic, it certainly doesn't make it patriotic either.
