I have had this problem so much in the past! There have been times where I thought something was seriously wrong b/c the clots were so big. After visiting a 4th doctor on this, she advised me it's b/c I go without my period at times. Sometimes I would skip the sugar pills in my birth control pack so I could skip my period. (I was having probs with bleeding too much, that's why I did that) But she said it was because of buildup. The body naturally gets rid of layers of the uterine lining during your period and b/c I was not having one, this natural cleansing did not happen for some time.

Hmmm...I guess it would probably have to do with how thick the lining of the uterus became before your period started (what comes out during your period is the lining) I find that for me personally, some months seem to be "clottier" (ew...) than others, but I cannot really put my finger on what causes this, other than some months the lining has gotten thicker than others.

"Mega-sexified...?" How about "Mega-retarded"...I think that fits you better.

Because you shed the lining of your uterus, so there might be other tissue and stuff in there. Also, blood naturally clots when it's been sitting for a while. Ew, I'm grossing myself out thinking about it! ....what we go through.....
