I do not believe anything. I insist upon real knowledge, not merely blind belief. There is no real evidence of any form of afterlife. Do not be so upset about it. That is far better than the afterlives invented by morons for which they try to sell you an expensive ticket with no guarantees of refunds if you are not satisfied. There does not "have to be" anything at all, and "life can just end at death". You cannot force your way upon the universe. Try being a stoic.

Life ends so much definitely after death and forever that we can't even talk the truth about it. As soon as a human dies, it is finished for that particular person to stay in the living world, only memories, works and monuments may be left back.
Anyway, humans are so limited that they can't even remember what and how they were before they were conceived into present life by their own parents.
So, no more living, nothing at all. What we experience now is because we are alive, and after we die there is nothing else, we won't experience anything. So, we better try to enjoy our present life in the best possible way.
Someone may want us to believe that we are going to be alive again in the same way or in some other way. We may even be thought to going to be reborn as a rat or as a ferocious wild beast, or as an earth-worm, or as a gorgeous hot babe, or as a cluster of good or poisonous mushrooms. And someone may even insist on telling us that it is impossible that we disappear for ever, that life can't just end at death.
We do not know what to say to that. We cannot personally see into the future, not even of our own present bodily life, and we can't even remember what or how we were before we got conceived by our own immediate parents. In fact we hardly remember what we did or ate a week ago at this same hour of day. And we never know how our tomorrow rally is going to unfold itself. We live and die ever half-consciously in a wild unpredictable world. Some of us may be so busy at their struggle for survival that they can neither think of any future and nor of any possibility of afterlife or return to life.

Its a good question. Although the religious nuts are already harping on about heaven and blah blah blah. Theyre terrified to stop and consider the possibility that maybe there is no God, no afterlife, no Heaven, nothing. I'll admit that it is a terrifying thought, that you live and then you die and thats it. I mean my Granmother passed away two weeks ago and it hit my mother pretty hard but she clung to the prospect that my Grandmother had gone to a better place, which gave her a lot of comfort. It made me think about death though and like I said it is scary to imagine that theres nothing after this life..........but if you dont believe you just dont believe. At my very core I dont believe in God or Heaven or any of that stuff. I just cant. So because of this Ive had to accept that there is nothing after life. It is scary and hard to do this and it wouldve been easy for me to just quit and say, oh well there is a God and there is something after life so its all good. But when I do think about it now im not so worried, ive kind of accepted it and its not so bad. So I think its really a matter of courage, being able to face the brutal truth about life.

There are three main beliefs that interest me. The first is a belief in heaven and hell. The ultimate ending to our lives. The second belief is reincarnation. This one makes a lot of sense to me. The third is we repeat this same life over and over again for an eternity. This would be the real nightmarish existence.

I believe in the hope of a resurrection. I'm a full believer of the bible.. once you die you will be conscious of nothing but the faithful ones will be resurrected and live forever if they do good by God. you should read the whole book of revelations which is the last chapter in the bible. look in the back of the bible in the index and look up death it will give you certain scriptures of it as well. I'm still afraid to die though :(

What I think happens is completely irrelevant to what actually is going to happen. I can't say that I haven't wondered about life after death, but I guess I'll have to wait till I die to find out.

So far I haven't seen anything to convince me otherwise.
"There has to be some other way. Life just can't just end at death."
These are the words of someone who hasn't figured out that life is actually quite short and that it needs to be lived while you have it.

I believe this body as we know it will be dead, but no I do not believe that we are dead. I think a stronger being call Him what you want will take us to another place where we will all live in Harmony and be reunited with our loved ones and our beloved pets and family. We will not feel pain or hatred or sickness or hunger or thirst, for He will be there caring for us and we will learn from Him all that we failed to learn here on this earth. I am with you, life cannot just end at death it will just be life as we know it life with pain, life with anger, life with self-doubt, life with hunger and thirst for more that will end.

I believe we have something inside of us that goes on after the body dies.
I am not sure if this would be considered "human life" as humans are biological creatures and I am talking about energy.
