In my experience, my employers had never asked to see my diploma. They can check whether you did get your degree rather simply. Most colleges (if not all) offer some form of online validation, they enter your name and it tells them what year you graduated and what degree you got.
Don't need to show transcript either. If a company really wants to see it, they will specifically ask you for it.
Just make sure you bring a notepad to jot down some notes during your interview (it shows that you are interested and serious), an extra copy of your resume, and bring your best self!!
Good luck!

In 25 years in the world of workin', I've never been asked for a copy of my diploma. I've been asked for transcripts though and you should have a copy with you just in case. An extra resume is good too.
Employers don't verify that you earned your degree by looking at the diploma, anyone can get a fake. They verify that you earned the degree by calling the school and asking.
They use the transcripts to see what sort of courses you took and how you did. Most won't need a true copy from the registrar but some will ask that you have the college send them a sealed copy.
99% of the time, employers won't even ask for the transcript - it's sufficient that you have whatever degree they require and they can check that easily.

It depends on what type of job you are applying for and the company requirements. Most companies do not ask for a copy of your college degree nor would they ask for your transcript. Hell most companies don't even do a background search to see if you have ever been arrested. Just be honest with whatever you write on the application because companies do have the means to check if they want to. Good Luck!

If the job requires a degree and you're fresh out of college, they may require that you provide a copy of your diploma. I graduated from college 15 years ago and I haven't been asked to provide this in many years.

You don't need a copy of your diploma, what you need is a copy of your transcripts. You can get those through the registrars office of your university. It states on your transcript whether or not you completed your degree. I have never once been asked to show a copy of my diploma, only my transcripts.

It is highly unlikely tha anyone would ask for your diploma. Most companies don't even check -- but if they want proof that you graduated, they can just call the university.
