I'm not as concerned with coverage for illegal residents as I am about what will be done about healthcare in general. The cost is too high. Many people don't have coverage through their employer, and can't afford private coverage because the cost is outrageous! I would like to know what ANYONE, Dem or Con, is going to do about the fact that AMERICANS are going without healthcare. And how many trillions have we given to a useless and pointless war? It doesn't have to be about Dems v. Cons.

you possibly can desire to argue that the kind substances the federal government the authority to revenue conflict, even though it does not furnish it the authority to spend the huge-unfold public treasury on well-being care. And that complete for the conflict is over a 7 12 months span. the government (which incorporate state and federal) spends some $750 billion in preserving with annum on Medicare and Medicaid. And the possibility that the Democrats' well-being care reform costing incredibly $a million trillion over 10 years is nil. it is going to cost critically extra, quite in case you incorporate the mandates for further efficient state Medicaid spending (that are actually not any extra coated in the federal funds estimates). So, what you have is a valid and constitutional function of the federal government, as against an illegitimate and unconstitutional spending it incredibly is, on an annual commencing up, some 10 circumstances the each and every 12 months spending on the conflict.

The Repubs economic plans are all centered on keeping the illegals in the US so their rich corporate buddies can maximize profits, increase their lobbying payments, by hiring illegals at sub-minimum wages thus avoiding union workers. Or here is another idea, let's get out of this senseless war and save the coming up on $800 billion that has cost us. If the Repubs want to continue their war in Iraq let them pay their mercenaries out of their own pockets instead of the tax payers.

I'll bet it's less than the $200 billion we're going to be forced to cough up for that bogus "war" in Iraq.

Oh, wait a sec... Didn't Rumsfeld say something about Iraqi oil going to pay for the "war?" Or... oh! Another lie... Imagine that!

Strangely enough, the corporatist Cons are the ones allowing these illegals in so they can hire them illegally for cheaper wages. (Republican Free Trade at it's best)
