Do you still have the tablecloth? Or a picture that shows the tablecloth? Maybe in a Thanksgiving photo or something?
You might want to try posting a photo on crochetville (link below) under "Clinic" then under "Seeking Patterns". You'll be surprised how many people might recognize the pattern. My id on there is ShellySXE, look me up if you're on there!
Then you might want to check Crochet Pattern Central and see if you can find it or something similar. I always check there first when I need a pattern.

There are very many patterns for crochet, many of them stars and most started from a circle.
On the site linked to in the first answer you can find galleries, there you find many pictures.
Or search for -doily crochet patterns- and you get page after page with links.
