im willing to go out on a limb and say ive washed more breeds of dogs than you can imagine. :)
not only did i spent a few years working at animal groomers but i also spent several years volunteering at the animal shelter & with rescue groups and every weekend we'd wash allll the dogs.
but i will say id wash a dog over a cat anyday! :o)

Yes, I have given my Shepard's many a washing, they are all gone now but I have another dog and she runs at the sound of the tub being filled.

We have owned lots of dogs over the years. We started out with collies. And believe me that was an adventure to wash them since most collies hate water. We now have shih tzus and they tolerate baths, but would prefer to skip it! Mostly, we take the little dogs to the groomer's.
