ANY religion can be life changing - wicca is just one.
I'm more pagan than wicca, but my mom is a witch, so I've been that way too.
Paganism and wicca connect you to the earth more, make you more aware of the lives and things around you.
Also, Wicca puts you in control. You can manifest change in your life and in your world.
As an example, my sister and brother in law are christians. If I'm pagan, and I've been sick or short on cash lately, they say "You are sick and broke becuase God is punishing you for being evil and turning from him". If I'm going to church, and I'm sick and broke, it's "God is testing you to make you stronger! It's a blessing!"
If I'm happy and wealthy, and pagan, it's "The Devil is leading you astray with false promise", but if I'm happy and wealthy and in church, it's "God is rewarding you!'
hmmm......OK then....
With Wicca, you can't control everything in life, but you are in charge of your actions, your consequences, everything. You know that each decision has an outcome, and no "big guy" is pulling the strings.
Also, Wicca is very female friendly. It's nice to feel powerful as a woman, instead of being told "women should be silent in the church".
You see everything manifested in nature.
Reincarnation means no fear of death, and knowing you have time to get it right....
ALL religions can be good or bad. Paganism and Wicca work well for me personally.
Good luck.

If you're looking for something that you think will automatically change your life, such as wicca, then I suggest you think again. Any spiritual path (whatever that may be) takes time and work. It's also, in my opinion, not for the weak minded. It takes real courage to connect with yourself and connect with that "higher power." It takes a lot of inner journeying and acceptance of yourself and your connection to others. Remember, as someone else sorta said, wicca isn't the only pagan path there is. It's just a branch of it.
Me personally, I follow a spiritual and open-minded path. I do not consider myself a witch, but I'm sure there's many things I do that could be called "witch-like." If you really want to change your life, start within. Meditate. Connect with yourself. Then start connecting with other things. Go out and be in nature. Talk to the universe (divine, higher power, etc). See how connected you are to it and everything else around you. You'll start to see the big picture.

i might risk a wager that it HAS replaced your existence on the interior if no longer the outdoors. i think of human beings have profound reactions to listening to the call, that they then warfare with something of their lives. it isn't the essential course. each Wiccan/Pagan i've got ever conventional, me and my unique mentor blanketed, have had a rocky courting with their spirituality, and have at cases deserted it or replaced course. This course calls for a individual strengthen and evolve, that's quite painful and problematic. yet i've got self assurance it may well be. i think of human beings study to fulfill psychological curiousity, yet while some thing happens and that they are stated as to accomplish that, it rather is while they locate the course under their ft. enable's say you appreciate positive foodstuff and choose to benefit to prepare dinner. you may purchase some fancy cookbooks, yet until eventually you're interior the area the place you're able to prepare dinner, you may never do something with those cookbooks as properly study them. some human beings gets snotty approximately no longer rather being a prepare dinner until eventually you have unquestionably gotten into that kitchen and banged the pots around. yet there is an psychological technique this is deeper than it appears that evidently that ought to no longer be skipped over the two. And a point of worry that ought to no longer be discounted. yet then at some point, you in basic terms do it. You %. the recipe, get the groceries, opened up, and get busy. And it seems splendidly, and your visitors RAVE with regard to the foodstuff. Or in Wiccan words, you carry out a healing or a spell or carry out a little ghost artwork that has marvelous effects. after which you're hooked. or you connect an off-the-cuff Wiccan/Pagan team and have some cool interactive studies with different Pagans. yet at what factor did Wicca exchange your existence? i think of the 1st spark rather did it, the 1st time you heard the call. would not remember whether you skipped over it or you embraced it. It replaced you. for the reason which you discovered your self! Hugs all!

it doesn't take a religion to change your life, only an idea that you buy into, whether it's religion, psychology, etc..
the point is YOU change your life by making a choice in believing something.
Wicca is associated with nature, and natural orders. by adhering to this, you are, in essence, realizing you're part of the natural order and at one with everything.
but you don't need Wicca to do this. Just walk out into the woods, feel the peace that's there that you cannot find in the hustle and bustle of the city. An odd feeling calm may come over you, it's because you're not used to your mind moving so slow in today's fast paced world. Here, there are no ideas that try to coerce your conformity. Here, what you see is what you get. No ghosts, no goblins, no gods. the universe is a machine of using the law of natural chaos (chaos is law)....change, variety. we each play a role and in trying to make sense of this, we turn to others' ideas.
The power of your life is in your hands. No religion can change you unless you allow it. No psychological idea can either.
Only you can through your choices.

First: harm none... that simple statement was what initially drew me to Wicca. I've never found the Divine in any church, I only find it in nature. I'm not into many of the ritiuals, another bonus of the practice along with it's nonjudgemental attitude toward other religions. It's made me a more tolerant and patient person. Get any book by Scott Cunningham, see if it's right for you.

It can't. Religion itself can't help you change your life. That has to come from within. However, choosing a religion can enhance your life. For instance, I'm pagan. I have always loved nature (even way before I was pagan). Once I chose the pagan path, it didn't change the way I felt about nature. It simply gave me the reason for why I loved it and gave me a deeper appreciation. Hope that make sense.

Wicca provides insight about your connections with the natural world and the spirit world.
And just like any religion, it also provide solace in your times of trials. In the case of Wicca, you could either perform spells to fulfill your wishes (be reminded about the "ten-fold" rule though).
(Nope, I'm not a Wiccan. Just sharing my thoughts.)

Wicca can't.
Your relationship with the gods, established and strengthened by the religion of Wicca can.
The religion, however, does none of the work.

it will empower you to explore spirituality on your own terms, not someone else's. it is liberation from evil mind control schemes and from dogmas. you will genuine encounter spirituality in a way that defies the self-limiting definitions that both organized religion and atheism cling to.
and if you choose to follow a different path, there will be no demonization or fear-tactics to get you to stay.
