I don't think Willie is going anywhere. Do you think a coach will get the boot or will they just revamp the bullpen?

Randolph, the manager always gets the blame, even when it is not deserved.

and by if, you mean when......

the mets have absolutely crumbled down the stretch. their pitching is the first thing that comes to mind. nobody on that staff has been pitching well down the stretch.

on top of that, their hitting has always been inconsistent. reyes and wright are the only two guys who seem to be reliable day in and day out on that team.

sorry to say it but the talent isn't there for the mets this year. the phillies are a better team and will win the division, meanwhile the mets will miss the wild card.

The bullpen. Mota, Sosa, and Sele will all be gone next year. Joe Smith will probably stay in Triple A for most of next year.
Injured relievers Burgos, Sanchez, and Juan Padilla will replace them.

I think everyone deserves to take the blame......it all started with that 6 error game against Philly and spiraled out of control, their pitching can't deliver and the fielders are giving up.............that is the difference between the Mets and the Phillies........the Phillies don't ever give up, and you can see that on the field and that is what will make the difference this season

Good Bye Willie...as much as I hate to admit it, the MEts are too good not to be World Series contenders. They'll find somebody to get them there

Blame should fall on the manager as he has made some bonehead moves. Don't worry though, guaranteed they will make the playoffs.
