I leave so others can park there.....why begrudge someone a space I'm vacating anyway? Perhaps Karma will help me find a space when I need it, then.

I give them the 'just a minute' gesture, buckle-up and go.
Why do get mad if someone wants the spot they are leaving? Why so territorial of a 'parking spot' which isn't even YOUR
territory after all?
SHEESH!
Some people are just miserable I guess, with zero self-esteem.

I usually try to hurry up a little (especially if I have a really good spot), because I know how much it sucks to not be able to find a decent spot.
My husband is like you - he takes his good old time.
