Turn on the car and AC. Lizards do not like cold so it will get out. Leave the door open and wait a few minutes

ok first sing to the lizard to get its attention.try singing its a wonderful life or ice ice baby. then flash some swiss cheese as the lizard hops out the a/c vent.now cover the vent and grab it.release it back into captivity.

Close the A/C vent(towel or something). Then chase the lizard out. I bet you don't have problems with insects in your car anymore.

Be nice to the little guy. But I recommend turning on the AC full blast and chilling him. Then, dismantle the thing while he is dormant and sluggish. You'll have to work fast. I caught a problem snake once by waiting until the morning chill, and prying up his favorite footstone in the backyard while he was sluggish and unable to move very fast. I let him go in the wild.

Close the A/C vents and start the heater at high temp. for sometime, it will die inside, then ask ac mechanic to open it and remove the dead soul otherwise bad smell will start coming out whenever you switch on the blower or ac. The same thing happened to me sometime back but it was a rat.

Cover the vent or any other places he could crawl into, roll the windows down, and wait overnight.(also listen to the girl who said don't touch its tail, she is very right!)

Lizards hate smoke, get a heap of damp lawn mower cuttings, put it inside your car, start a smoldering fire.
The Lizard will leave.

Bait a mousetrap with whatever lizards eat and put it in the car.
