Good minimalism, but reduce the first paragraph on the first page to the words, Vote! No sign-in!
...then add a VERY BRIEF sentence that says WHY someone would want to vote!
And I might suggest using a little smaller print, and filling up your "whitespace" a little more to bring the vote blocks a little higher up when a website visitor first views a voting screen!
As the others said above, the logo is a nice touch...!
(I forgot to check, but, does clicking the logo on other pages return you to the home page?)
