my pc was reformated & my os now is xp pro.. the icons are large & everything (browsers,etc.) i dont know if it is really a feature of xp pro, because my os before was not pro.. so its not normal for me.... they're large & I DONT LIKE IT... how can i change it to smaller one (all the browsers, icons, etc.)-(the resolution) , or is this really how xp pro looks like.. if it is, is there anyway i could make it smaller..
(note: i have done all those right click thing, properties, settings, appearance, etc., but i think its all in the whole operating system feature... i just dont know...)
pls. any help..?

Right click on the desktop.. click properties>>goto settings tab>> change the screen resolution to be 1072x768 or higher. and click OK

You probably have your screen resolution set to low. Try right clicking on the desktop and then click "Properties". Now click the "Settings" tab. Set your resolution to at least 1024 X 780. If you find that the upper settings are not available you may need to install the drivers for both your mother board and your video card.
Also, in the Display Properties dialog box, click the Appearance tab. Here you can set the Font size. Next, click the "Effects" button and make sure that there is no check mark in the "Use large icons" box.

No matter which OS you are using, you can customize it to your liking. Here's how to make the icons the size you want:
Right-click an empty spot on the desktop, click Properties, click the Appearance tab at the top, click Advanced button, in the Item box click the down arrow, click Icon, just to the right is the Size box--use the down arrow to make your icons smaller, click OK, click Apply, click OK

Right click on start go to properties then hit customize choose small icons.For the top Icons on top of your browser pick a spot on a free space on the task bar above right click customize look there for text option and icon option.

It is a fresh install right? if so, you need to install your video card software. Some video cards are not automatically installed when using xp pro. But if you already installed your video card try changing the resolution of it, go to start>control panel> open display> and open the settings tab, you can chage the resolution there.

i do no longer understand the setuation comletely yet for now i think of the two this is coused by way of the working equipment you need to place all you data in a secure place out area your problematicpersistent (may well be an exterior problematicpersistent ) and make F disk and format back and intall a sparkling version of homestead windows the 2nd achieveable reason is the problematicpersistent or Ram yet i think of the OS is the reason sturdy success

Right click in desktop
go to properties
go to setting
screen resolution make it higher
put the color quality to 32bit.
also you need to update your graphic card driver.
