What are some things you put on your baby registry or things you received or bought for your baby that you couldn't live without or that you were so happy to get? I know about all the basic stuff, but just in case I'm overlooking something. Thanks so much! My registry is on babiesrus.com (Kyeisha Stephens) just in case you see something I'm missing =] I really appreciate all your time and help!

Things I don't recommend:
I'd stay away from the Storkcraft Aspen set if I were you. The drawers under the changing table & cribs dont have a support bar so if you put anything in them, they bottoms fall through. That really doesn't matter much because they've both fallen off anyway (the company is not responsive to complaints/requests for hardware). Great looking but not funtional at all. But if you still go with the set, there's a matching toychest.
I'd also recommend taking the wipe warmers off. You'll only need them the first couple of weeks & you can just use cloth (or cotton balls) and warm water with mild soap or rub the wipes between your palms.
Skip the swaddler. You'll learn in the hospital how to swaddle with a recieving blanket & will be pro in no time.
Things I'd recommend:
-You'll need another stationary item to place the baby in. Something like this (which my son loves): http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2265001&cp=2255975.2256080.2256084&parentPage=family
-Crib toy / mobile. They're only recommended up to 5 months, so now would be the time you use one.
-Scratch mittens
-an extra base for the carseat (if you have two cars or if someone will be watching your child)
Register for the following items too. You won't need them right away, but your baby will grow up so fast:
-High Chair
-Walker
-Exersaucer
-Safety gates / Superyard
I noticed you didn't have regular bathtime soaps/shampoos. The bedtime one you registered for is great, but you don't want to use anthing with fragrance on a newborns skin.
Congrats!!
Most of all, relax. The things I've listed are all great to have, but not truly necessaties.
If you were only equiped with a form of diapers, a couple outfits & food for the baby... everything would be okay.
BTW... I have the sight & sound monitor & love it!! But whay you may not realize is that the camera base is where the sound is picked up too. You'll most likely have that mounted near the crib which you wouldn't want to move around. Sooo, you should probably register for a cheapy baby monitor to keep in near the swing/playpen or wherever you're baby is going to take naps.
Also, a diaper genie or just lots of boxes of the scented diaper disposal bags... you can usually get them at $1 stores.
& a clothing hamper for babies room.
I'll check back in case you have questions... I have some many other things I could list but would be spending my entire day on this question :)

What I did was only put things on the registry that were specific.. for instance, a certain type of toy, high chair, stroller, etc. I gave my mother a list of stuff I need, but things that did not have to be specific like clothes, burp cloths, etc. I used to work in a department store and I can speak from experience that when you put things like clothes on your lists, they are very difficult to find. The only way I would put anything like that on a registry, is if the person was going to buy it online... there is no mistaking the product that way.

I was happy to get onesies in all different sizes. I registered for newborn and 3-6 months but some people bought me bigger sizes like 6-9 months which was great because they are easy to store away and I had them on hand as the baby grew.
I also registered for hooded towels because they are so handy for drying and wrapping the baby and it was nice to have several of them. I bathed my baby a lot, just cause it's so much fun and they love the water!
If you are going to nurse, you might also register for a sterilizer and the Medela microwave steam bags.
Don't be afraid to register for more diapers, and in sizes other than newborn. They grow out of those fast.
You might also like to add the "sweetpea" gowns to your layette. They are like little bags that are open at the end and make it easy to change the baby - no snaps to fool with.

i might sign in at the two, yet i may well be sure you do not sign in for reproduction products. locate the vehicle seat you like maximum suitable and sign in in basic terms for that one at one keep. while registering you additionally should sign in for products from everyones funds. i might sign in for issues which incorporate shampoos and creams and tub stuff all they way as much as strollers, swings, cribs, extreme chairs. That way there is a few thing that everybody provides from in basic terms a pair funds to a pair hundred funds. this enables human beings a lot of selection. some human beings desire to pass in mutually as a team for a extra costly merchandise and others desire to purchase most of the low fee products and make a contemporary basket. some human beings will purchase you stuff that may not even on the registry. while somebody buys some thing off the registry, as long as they tell the checkout clerk it grow to be off the registry, it's going to be taken off the checklist to ward off duplicates. wish this facilitates.

I registered with babiesrus too. there should be like a list that they have for first time parents while you're in the registry that you can look at. don't go too overboard though. remember most of the time for a couple of months your baby is either going to be in a swing getting rocked to sleep or in your arms getting rocked to sleep. i would hold out on the big crib until later at least a couple months down the road.

I see you registered for a swing but not a bouncer. I would recommend a bouncer.
At least 2 matras pad covers. At least 2 changing pad covers.
There is probably more. What I recommend is at Babies R Us they have a list of recommend things, go through that list and see what you are missing.

baby wipes warmer, some bottles and pacifiers, more washcloths, socks, few outfits, sleep positioner pillows, throw for nursing, lap burp cloths, diaper hanger, diaper organizer, hamper, washing detergent, and extra burp cloths. You may even want to add bottle/pacifier rack, bath robe and slippers, a high chair and some decorations for the nursery.
