I thought that it would be awkward the first time I had a therapeutic message by a woman or a man (would I get turned on?), but it wasn't. Message therapy is sooooo good for the body and soul. Not sexual. Therapeutic. Very different from a message from a lover.

I was to place my hands on the person of opposite sex and similarly receive Reiki from the other person as a part of my 1st degree Reiki training. I could do it without feeling any embarrasment. Now, I touch the other person only if really needed but give Reiki without touching and it is as effective as the touch. Not exactly an answer to your question but professionals are taught to remain professional while touching the client.

A good professional massage therapist makes you feel at ease no matter what sex they are. I have had massages from therapists of both sexes and have no problem with either.

Nope, I kinda like it but then again, I am a bit of a touch whore. Meaning that I like being touched and touching other folks.
No happy endings in this day and age without serious complications from the massage board.

I've never received a massage from a man (I am a woman) because I believe it would make me uncomfortable. I'm a little old-fashioned, though.

I perform curative massages on both sexes.I have had a few men who began very tense.My job is to make you feel comfortable enough that I can work on you.

I hate massages from men. I like to have a "Bertha" type woman work over my muscles instead.

Nope but I've had four kids. I could get a massage from the Hells Anels and it wouldn't faze me.

Nope. I'll admit it -- when it comes to massage, I'm a wimp, so I won't let a masseur touch me. Heck, I even tell the masseuse to go easy on me...
