Heh, I'm sure they'd get lots of use out of it.
The whole Pluto thing started when they discovered Eris, a planet 1.27 times larger than Pluto that orbited the sun directly. They had two options:
1. Call Eris the 10th planet
or
2. Deem Pluto not a planet
They chose the latter, but in turn coined the new term, dwarf planet, of which both Pluto and Eris now belong in.
To answer you question, Pluto is now just a big piece of ice floating around the sun. Nothing more, nothing less...
