any of that kind of meat like this is okay to eat as long as you put in in the microwave and cook it first. You can let it cool off if you like it cold. Just like if you go to Subway or something, ask them to cook the meat seperately first before putting it on the sandwhich and it'll be perfectly safe for you to eat!

The only problems with a pepp sandwich are:
High fat - at this point it probably doesn't matter. Near the end of the pregnancy if you've gained 60 lbs., it might matter.
High sodium - if you're not retaining water and your blood pressure is normal, no big deal.
Spicy - If you're not getting really bad heartburn with spicy foods, go for it.

So the way I see it, if none of these medical problems have popped up, go for it. But I'd limit it to 2 or 3 times a week just because they have so many calories.

What? You say they have reduced-calorie pepperoni sandwiches? Eat to your heart's content! You do know, that your baby's going to love pizza, right?

In our family we have silly jokes. With one child I ate twinkies and mexican food, and she's not a fan of chocolate and adores mexican food.

With the other child, I ate ding-dongs (chocolate cake) and macaroni & cheese. He's a chocoholic and ate nothing during toddlerhood but mac n cheese!

Very, very best wishes for you and your coming bundle of joy!

There can be problems with a bacteria called 'listeria' with luncheon meats like pepperoni. If you want to eat it, you need to heat the pepperoni to steaming first to get rid of the bacteria.

It's not guaranteed to be in the meat, but if it is and you pass it to your baby, he/she could become very ill.

It's a tad iffy. Some lunchmeats can have listeria-a kind of virus that is particularly bad for pregnant women. They say that if you are careful about keeping the lunchment cold and using it by the sell by date, you should be okay. But it's your call.

I think it's fine. I don't like pepperoni, but I just found this turkey pepperoni. It's got like half the fat and alot less calories. It's super good too!

Well my Dr. told me to try to stay away from deli meats b/c they contain alot of nitrates.... Try to limit intake of hot dogs to!

if you don't abuse it, (i mean have one every day) i'm sure it's ok, but try to limit the amount you eat, especially in the first 12 weeks when it's most critical.....

Good Luck!

Sure. You might want to avoid spicey pepperoni though, that may not sit well with you. Enjoy!

I don't recommend eating it a lot as it is very fatty but once in a while sounds good.
