I think you are halfway right. Bill is very rude at times and doesnt like to show when he is wrong but at the same time he is a good interviewer and tries to get some answer out of people. I mostly disagree with everything he stands for but I do like him personally.

I've been a fan of his going back to the beginning. At first I thought he was annoying and arrogant but he has grown on me.

O'Reilly's schtick is completely unlike other shows on TV right now. Guys like Tim Russert, Larry King, and Keith Olbermann will let their guests ramble if they won't answer a question. Bill insists on them answering the question and will interrupt them if they're not. It's part of the "No Spin Zone."

For those of you who accuse him of being a lap dog for Bush and the Republicans...he has gone after them just as hard as he goes after liberals and Dems.

What's really funny is that he used to host Inside Edition which was like a seriously tabloid-y news program. Think " A bear ate the head off of this 60-year-old woman. We'll have an exclusive interview with the nurse that treated her next." And now he acts all holier-than-thou about everything.

I think he is a moron! Look at the spot he did about that restaurant 'Sylvia's' He made rude and racial statements about stereotypical behaviors! And them he yelled persecution, and said the media was picking on him, he was the one still talking about it, and saying he was trying to make it easier for the Blacks, and trying to make excuses about what he said, and in the end it was all about ratings!
What a waste of skin!
Ratings or not, he is an ignoramus, and has way too much power!!

I use to like Bill O'Reilly when I first began watching news networks but I've tuned him out these days. Fox is too biased in my opinion but then again, so is CNN, which is my favorite news network. (Lou Dobbs fan here)

I love Bill he is cool and quite funny, if he is not for you then you might want to watch the people on CNN the are mean and funny to but in a different way one side is on the left the other more to the right.

He is a butthole. You ever notice that when people catch him stretching the truth about something he gets mad and shoves his fingers in face and yells over them. Just go to show you he isn't very intelligent. An intellingent person knows how to debate without being insulting.

The ratings say otherwise. He is the number one cable rated news program and has been for years.

He gives a fair interview and asks tough questions, unlike most reporters.

I don't think he is being mean he is just stating his case in a passionate way, because he truly believes in what he is saying.

We need someone to ask the tough questions and call a liar a liar.

Like him or not he does a good job.
