My mother's tongue ?
That's the thing that went non-stop when I came home late.

I know, I am a smartass, that's my specialty.

But seriously, English, but I also speak German, Spanish, Russian and a little French ( I kinda gave up on French, I don't like it ).
And I am currently working on learning Mandarin.

well, my mother tongue is English, as I am an American, born and raised. I can't speak any other language fluently, but I can say one phrase in German, one word in Japanese, and one phrase in French. My dad is the one who speaks German fluently, and also understands and can speak some Spanish as well as Latin. Once I am living with him, ( after my mom dies. she has terminal cancer) he is going to teach me how to at least speak German if not read it also.

English, but I used to be able to speak two other languages. Now I can only understand one of them, but not even speak it. I tried to learn French in high school but my teachers sucked.
