We got two days worth of good rain. Will this keep the water table high enough for a while?

If your well is coming back after a good rain, you must have a very shallow well. You might want to have that water tested for Nitrates and Fecal Bacteria. Not to mention a host of chemicals and metals that could be in that water.

A deep well which is far safer for drinking water will rarely go dry in the first place and will not be affected by rain for quite some time. The rain water has to find it's way to the aquifer by migrating through many layers of material to get there. This is also the purifying process that makes the deep well water so much better.

To answer your question. I really don't know how long it will last. You might want to call a local Well Driller and ask him.
