Do you think it should be illegal or do you think that it is fine to smoke it?

It's an f'ing plant.
It should be legal.
If you think it's bad, or wrong - then don't use it.
I'd much rather see people getting high than getting drunk.

It should be legal!
Because it is illegal, there has become a whole class of "bad guys" who have committed crimes because they use it. The jails are full of users of marijuana which is just insane.
Also, because it is illegal, the people who you buy it from now also deal in the real bad stuff and most of them also carry guns! Is this insane, or what?
I feel it is mostly a continuation of the "culture war" that has existed in this country since the 60's. The people who weren't cool then are still trying to screw the people who were/are cool now.

That is two questions. I personally think it should be legal. It is fine for some to smoke it, while some others probably should not.

It's an unregulated, mind-altering drug. There are specific medical uses, such as nausea, that it's very effective for, but other than that, it should remain illegal.
On that note, every time I see someone spouting about how it should be legal, they always appear to me to have had one too many joints in their lives. In other words, big time burnouts!

Skunk: No. They stink while they're alive and stink worse when they're dead. I can't imagine the smell if you smoke one of these little stinkers.
Weed: I've got TONS of them growing in my back yard. PLEASE. Come over, mow 'em down, and smoke away!
Cannabis: No. Keep it illegal. It's messed up members of my own family and too many teens (makes 'em lazy and unmotivated). Needs to stay illegal.

I think it should be legal but it should be regulated to those over 18.
At 18 if you want to destroy your life with any drugs, you should be able to do so. As long as you are not harming others or driving impaired.

It should be legal and it's fine to smoke it. I can't think of a more harmless drug. It's better than alcohol, that's for sure.

It should be legal. I'd rather have a stoned America than an America strung out on crack, alcohol, valliums, xanax and klonopin.
...and I just call it smoke.

Can't see the harm, if you educate yourself regarding side effects and consequences. Seems to me it ties up a lot of police and court time needlessly

There is no argument that can be applied to marijuana, to say that it should be illegal, that couldn't be applied to cigarettes and alcohol.
In 5000 years ZERO people have died from smoking marijuana.
Millions of people die each year from cigarettes and alcohol.
Marijuana is not chemically adictive....but alcohol and cigarettes are.

I think that it would be ok to smoke your own home-grown weed but not to sell it.
Dont buy it from the market.
Its your body, your life but when you are high, dont do stupid things which can endanger other'd life
