I DID live in a "haunted house" growing up. We moved there when I was 10 my brother was 7. We didn't see anything at first, just hearing someone walking up and down the stairs. One night I (I was 16) shut my b-room door, went to bed, heard the door knob turn (my back was to the door). I told my brother that if he was trying to play a trick on me it wasn't going to work, I heard him coming in. He didn't answer- when I rolled over there was a black shadow standing right next to my bed in the shape of a man, and my b-room door was SHUT! AAARRGHH! I screamed. I didn't tell my brother about it because I didn't want to freak him out. He told me years later about the black shadow he saw in his room with the attic- he said he never told me because he didn't want to freak me out. Happy Halloween!

If I had money invested in the house. I would stay. I would then confront the ghost and help it cross over to the other side. Many ghosts are confused and miss their family. Or maybe they have some unfinished business to deal with. Either way, I would do what it takes to help the ghost. Even if the ghost is scary.

Why? Because moving is expensive. You got to pay for the movers, find another place to live, pay for the hotel room, and moving takes preparation.

Now, there is one circumstance where I would run like Hell. Now if I had ghosts in my house like "Poltergeist" the movie. I would take my family and get out of there.

So it depends on the amount of paranormal activity. One or two ghosts I can handle. But not 100 or more. Check to see if your house was built on a graveyard.

I wouls get out of that house very quickly! I watch the TV show a Haunting and the ghosts that haunt those houses are always evil and destructive. So i would have to say if my house was like that yes i would leave.

We stayed in our house for 18 years. It was a real eye-opener. The things we'd hear in the night and daytime. It wasn't mean or a bad entity or whatever. It was just there. It was just around us...

We moved cause, our house was getting old. We wanted something bigger and better.. and my parents got a house for $400,000. Awesome view and all. It's great. It's been 5 years since we moved. I do think about the other people living there though. I wonder if they experienced it. We did tell them, but they said they don't believe in it. Oh well, at least we didn't rip them off.

Nope. I did live in a house for 21 years that was haunted. If you have some spirits in it, you deal with it. You either learn to live together or you don't. The only reason we moved was because the city ended up doing road construction and we had to move. It's ok. Life happens.

Well, depends on how haunted it was. If I was being awaken in the middle of the night and having my sleep interupted, then probably yes. But if it was just an occasional presence that I was aware of, then probably not.

Speaking of ghosts, on October 20th I am staying at a haunted hotel in Los Angeles.....and yes, I am bringing my Ouija board! I'm scared to death, but it's just something I gotta do!

I've lived in four haunted houses. The ghosts and I peacefully coexisted. Of course, I've never had anything like "poltergeist" go on, so I've been lucky. Just other "beings" moving around the house, and unexplained noises, including my name being called when I was alone in the house.

um depends on the kind of ghost it was. many ghosts are very friendly and mean no harm to anyone although they do spook you when you see them. if it was that type no id say but if it was a malevolent ghost you know a mean one. those are the ones that like throw things and stuff. id say id be out of there as fast as my legs would run

We have ghosts in our house-they are just an old couple that used to live here- I smell toast being cooked when its not, smell cologne (old spice I think), sometimes pipe tobbacco, and hear voices expecially when the power is out. I have seen shadow people and felt someone touch me when no one else was home. They seem quite harmless and I wouldn't move because of them.

Nope, I would stick around and study the history of the house and try to research the ghost/poltergeist. GHOSTS RULE!!!
