What could be a possible problem with the computer? Yes i do have a power surge.

After you get it fixed (probably the power supply, check that 1st) get a more powerfull surge protector or a UPS

Unplug the computer from the power source (the wall outlet) and wait for at least 30 seconds. Then plug it back in and boot it up. That should help.

you mean u have a surge protector. even if you have one if the surge was strong enough it can go through the surge protector and still zap your computer. take it to a computer tech. you might have fried the motherboard or the hard drive.

the possible reason is PC power supply already spoil, go to change for new one
