I loved getting a new box of Crayola crayons on the first day in elementary school. It those days (50's) the school supplied things like pencils, crayons, glue, etc...

The BIG set of the fat scented markers that you have to buy at a specialty store! They smell so good! The scents I remember are:
Root beer
Orange
Lemon
Grape
Licorice
Strawberry
Banana
I still have some in the big bin of markers left over from when the kids were in elementary school which still work and smell good!

I used to love those Trapper Keeper notebooks when I was in school. I always got one with a cute kitty or puppy or something like that on it!

i guess different types of pencils like 2h or 2b cos i loved art and i liked the way those pencils made a variety of tones!!!
